Pre-sales and Support Specialist

Are you passionate about technology and eager to make an impact in the fast-growing field of directory synchronisation and device migration? Join the PowerSyncPro team and play a key role in helping us expand our presence in the US market. As a US Pre-sales and Support Specialist, you’ll work closely with our US Sales Manager to onboard and support partners and customers in successfully using the PowerSyncPro software. Please note that this role will require you to work US hours, although you don’t need to be based in the US.

This is a unique opportunity to influence the growth of PowerSyncPro and help disrupt the industry’s traditional approach to migrations. You’ll get the chance to work remotely with a global team, while directly engaging with US-based partners and clients. As a critical team member, you’ll help us make directory synchronisations and device migrations smoother and more efficient for organisations of all sizes. 

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Collaborating with the US Sales Manager to onboard new customers and partners, ensuring seamless adoption of PowerSyncPro software. 
  • Providing both pre-sales and post-sales support, guiding clients through their implementation and migration processes. 
  • Troubleshooting complex technical issues related to Active Directory, Entra ID, and device states. 
  • Educating clients and partners about the business benefits and capabilities of PowerSyncPro, with a focus on real-world use cases. 
  • Continuously building and maintaining your own lab/test environment to stay up-to-date with new features and product updates. 
  • Contributing to our expansion into the US market, helping us penetrate the directory sync and device migration space. 

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Active Directory & Entra ID: Strong understanding of Active Directory and Entra ID, ideally with experience in migrations involving one or both. 
  • Directory Synchronization: Familiarity with directory sync, either with PowerSyncPro or other similar tools. 
  • Microsoft 365 & Tenant-to-Tenant Migrations: Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft 365 tenant migrations, including Active Directory to Active Directory. 
  • Device States & Management: Familiarity with Windows workstation device states (AD Joined, Entra Joined, Hybrid Joined), AutoPilot, and Intune MDM. 
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to troubleshoot complex identity and device state issues. 
  • Customer-Centric Mindset: Eagerness to assist partners and customers in maximizing the value of PowerSyncPro and to ensure their long-term success. 
  • Continuous Learning: Willingness to create and manage a test environment for hands-on learning and staying up-to-date with PowerSyncPro developments. 
  • Effective Communication: Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, with an emphasis on business value. 

Nice-to-Have Skills: 

  • Experience in a similar role with a competing product or company. 
  • Hands-on experience as a migration engineer, using PowerSyncPro or similar tools. 
  • Experience with Google to Microsoft migrations
  • Knowledge of MacOS MDM and its integration with Entra ID. 
  • Understanding of Group Policy Objects (GPOs), Intune policies, and experience with migrations between them.
