Enhancements to Migration Agent and Directory Synchronisation deliver improved performance, expanded Microsoft 365 government support, and increased operational flexibility
PowerSyncPro is pleased to announce the general availability of PowerSyncPro Version 3.3, delivering significant enhancements across both the Migration Agent and Directory Synchronisation components.
Building on the strong foundation established in Version 3.2, this latest release introduces new features designed to improve performance, expand platform support, and provide greater control and flexibility for enterprise customers.
Migration Agent Enhancements
Version 3.3 introduces several key improvements to the PowerSyncPro Migration Agent:
- Expanded Microsoft 365 Support
Added support for Microsoft 365 Government Community Cloud (GCC) and Microsoft 365 Government Community Cloud High (GCC High) environments, and we will turn our attention to supporting sovereign clouds. (enabled via feature flag configuration).
- Performance Improvements
Enhancements to both the Agent Dashboard and Runbook retrieval processes deliver faster and more responsive operations.
- Configurable Polling Intervals
Customers can now define the polling interval between workstations and the PowerSyncPro server, ranging from 5 minutes to 1 week (default: 60 minutes).
Note: Care should be taken when selecting lower intervals to avoid excessive server load.
- Improved Logging Experience
Successful log entries for AppX / MSIX reconfiguration are now suppressed, reducing noise and improving log clarity.
- Profile Harvesting Optimisation
Windows profile harvesting is now standardised to run every 24 hours, independent of the polling interval.
Migration Agent Bug Fixes
- Resolved an issue where a false error was displayed when saving runbooks for legal notices without accessing the User Experience tab.
Directory Synchronisation Enhancements
Version 3.3 also introduces important updates to Directory Synchronisation capabilities:
- Expanded Microsoft 365 Support
Added support for Microsoft 365 Government Community Cloud (GCC) and Microsoft 365 Government Community Cloud High (GCC High) environments. (enabled via feature flag configuration).
- Extended Attribute Support
Support for Microsoft Entra ID extension attributes 1–15 within OnPremisesExtensionAttribute[NL2] .
- Security Enhancement
Integration of a Microsoft-signed password filter.
- Improved Scalability
Enhanced SQL timeout handling for large directory imports, improving reliability in enterprise-scale environments.
Directory Synchronisation Bug Fixes
- Resolved issues with exporting configurations involving complex expressions
- Fixed a memory leak during Entra ID imports
- Addressed paging issues when importing deleted objects from Entra ID
